We all go like this when the times come to draft an English resume via 104, daydreaming a tool or a service that we can buy our way out to know exactly how recruiters’minds work; where the reasons for hiring decisions are obvious; where the criteria for an effective resume and job search are as clear as day.
It does not EXIST.
I have had my shares to help out people more than I can remember to re-write their English resumes and here are my findings as follows:
May it be any tools you find on the Internet to empower you to write a resume, it doesn't matter English or Chinese. Only six elements will affect a recruiter's decision-making process.
They only give a fuck about this stuff: your name current title/company previous title/company previous position start and end dates current position start and end dates education.
Beyond these six data points, recruiters did little more than scan for keywords to match the open position, which amounted to a very cursory “pattern matching” activity. Because decisions were based mostly on the six pieces of data listed above, an individual resume’s detail and explanatory copy became filler and had little to no impact on the initial decision making.
Key recommendation Turn to a professional for resume rewrites; insist on an organized layout and a strong visual hierarchy; and make sure online profiles are easy-to-read, without distracting visuals – that is, it makes sense to follow the style found on https://e92702055.wixsite.com/aceresume
